“Strength”. That is the word I would use to describe her. “Inner Toughness”. It takes tremendous strength and will power to fulfill the life’s calling that she has. Very few people are as strong as her. Having watched her give up the right to herself daily for twenty-two years, I can say truthfully and genuinely, I scored in the mom department. And of all of her great qualities, I admire her strength the most.
She is a committed follower of Jesus Christ and makes Him a priority in her life.
She is a truth speaker, always.
She is thoughtful and knows how to intentionally delight people.
She is a “get it done” gal, when the going gets tough, she gets going!
She is a dreamer, and an encourager of dreams.
She is loyal, discerning, and perceptive.
She is full of wisdom, and funny!
She is beautiful! (Glad I got some of those genes 😉 )
She is a hard worker and works with excellence.
She is a real fighter, and will fight for her family, and her friends (in the Walmart aisle no less!)
I have the unique opportunity to observe her in various roles, and it has been so cool!
She has been my teacher, Bible Study leader, encourager, concert groupie, and thrifting icon!
I watched her surrender her life to Christ, something I would do four years later.
I watched her give up her days to Home School my siblings and me.
I watched her become an adoptive parent, and the mom of seven kids!
In the words of TobyMac “When love is in the house, the house is packed!”
I watched her cross fitting for six years.
She is inspiring, and of all the “Everyday People” who have impacted my life, she is at the top of the list. I am here because of her, changed by her, and grateful to her.
Today is her birthday!
Happy birthday to the best woman I know!
Thank you for the example you set, for sticking to your convictions, and sharing truth. Thank you for all the ways you have made our life fun! I love you! You are the best! Better than all the rest!
